I've never played the full version of gothic, but I've goofed with the demo alot. I was surfing channels tonight and I started watching Robot wars on TNN. The announcers voice was familiar... I couldn't place it... Oh crap that's Mud!!
I looked up the Robot wars website and I see that a guy named Mick Foley is the host, on the gothic website, in the team area, last page voice actors are listed. Mick Foley's name is not listed.
I doubt it is the same person, but you really need to tune in and check it out...

Hmmm... I've never seen Robot Wars, so I couldn't tell you. It's possible I suppose, I always wonder what the voice actors really look like.

Mike Foley is a professional wrestler (also host for Robot Wars) he wrestled under the following names: Cactus Jack, Dude Love, Mankind, Jack Manson, Cactus Jack Manson, Jack Foley, and Mick Foley. I doubt if he is the voice of Mud, Mud voice is a little high, Mike Foley's is a little low. Doubt it, but not impossible. I like BattleBots a lot better.

I never watch television wrestling, either, but I know who Mankind is! You're right Max, I don't think he did the voice of Mud.

I watch wrestling probably twice a year, jsut for the entertainment, they are professional entertainers are they? Of course it's fake, but I like the show. Sort of like the circus, so much happening, people flying thru the air, etc. When I said I like BattleBots better I was refering to Robot wars
