Many G2 fans have already lost their interest to the game due to the delays (and JoWooD didn't give us ANY info about the delays.  ) Additionally, most gamers in the English-speaking countries haven't even heard of this game due to JoWooD's poor marketing strategies. H*ll, I (and Val) haven't even seen a single advertisement of G2 outside RPGDot. Moreover, I don't think G2 English will be given positive reviews from game mags. First of all, the graphics in G2 is outdated, as 2003 will be a big year for graphics IMHO. Second, RPG's seemed to receive a lot of hype in 2002, and G2 missed that year.
Unless you can "break" my reasons, I don't think G2 English will be a success anymore. And will PB/JoWooD develop an addon for an unsuccessful title? I highly doubt it.
P.S. My posts are ALWAYS lengthy. Why? 
Why shouldn´t they release it? All they have to do is translate. And it could help sell Gothic II and a later Gold Edition. RPGs are long time seller. Afaik Gothic sold more than 100k in North America (this number is of course unconfirmed). I´m sure it was never even close to the charts, but 5k here, 10k there adds up to a nice success, even at a low average sales price.

All they had to do was translate gothic 2 in the first place, i don't see it yet, do you?
