yea that ign one I saw stunk. Like she really played the game (bah) I think she copied and pasted what was on the back of the box...

Just to show you how marketing can make/break a game...
That review was done like yesterday. Gothic has been out in the US since 11/15. If this game had a stronger marketing force, that reviewer would have taken notice of this game earlier, wrote that review before Xmas and this game could have made some real money/acclaim over here in the states. (sigh)
Well better late than never, maybe it will snowball into something bigger. I just hope P-B isnt taken back by the slow take-off here and decides to not even bother doing a translation of the sequel

What I'd love the story to be is you killing the Orc King thats leading this war and then FINALLY you get to re-enter the kingdom, smack that judge around, take his coat, and then on to fight the Ultimate Big Man (The King) and now YOU rule all of (Gothic-Land)
!!!...
yea or something like that. And maybe see a few old faces. Considering the sequel is taking off right where the old one left off, not too much could have changed

imo that would be just way too stereotypical of a fantasy game.
i dont want my guy to be king. i want him to roam the lands killing evil creatures with only a bow and stopping by lester's place to visit with my holmes for a while.
i wonder where diego, milten, and gorn will live now that the barrier went down...
if they are smart they'd move in with lester, cause dayamn.....thats a nice place
