You need a blunt weapon.
Try to find the orc hammer. It is in a cave near the old mountain castle and the orc ruin.

Yep. Any blunt weapon will do, even a club, stick mace...er, stone crusher. Hammers are real nice (high damage), but if you're strong enough you can even use your fist to punch it to death! 
Swords and bows won't do.

Just try it. Find a nice brick wall and hit it with your fist as hard as you can.
Either the wall gives in or the bones in your hand break.
Nice way to build up your resistance to pain.
