This spell is normal spell. It does damage in same way as other spells, only difference from fireball is that rain of fire is area spell (can damage more than 1 enemy).
There is possibility that some creatures are imune to magics or to fire.

I am not positive about that spell but I seem to remember that it (along with some others) is one that you can vary the amount of damage it does. If you hold the action keys down for a long time before releasing it will do more damage than if you do it quickly. Try that. I know fire damages the minecrawlers - but I just used the fireball spell.

Yes, this spell:
- it takes some time until it is casted (possibly 3 - 5 s)
- you can cast it for several seconds and you must hold buttons to do that (but there is limitation - possibly 10 s)

Chances are, if you're surrounded, the crawlers are poppin' ya, thereby disrupting the spell while your mana goes into the toobs.

That spell is garbage stay away from it. Use storm of fire and Ice Wave until you are circle 6 then you will get an awesome spell that wipes out everything in sight !

I used Wave of Ice in combination with Rain of Fire and it was good and effective solution.

I found the wind spell worked wonders. It did damage AND knocked them backwards. I was able to cast it fast enough to keep them off of me and they all died! Best spell in the game.
