Fight Night V: Gomez vs. Cor Angar!

Hello folks, so I finally found the time to stage the fifth Fight Night as promised!

The fight of your choice was acting Royal Rumble champion Gomez vs. everybody's favorite Swamp denizen Cor Angar, and as would be expected of such distinguished gentlemen, both the Ore Baron's and Templar's schedules were pretty packed. Now that I finally got them both to meet at the same place and time (Gomez' throne room in chapter 5), Fight Night V took place!

The referee was Seraphia.

Now who would have thought it? The three rounds were over so quickly that I chose to add another two rounds to the fight... the outcome remained the same, though, so please don't accuse me of trying to aid one of the fighters! As always, I was quite neutral here .

Enough smalltalk for now. Let the Battle commence!

***

Round 1

Round one starts - as usual - without the referee doing so much as squeak. Both fighters rush each other and collide somewhere in the middle of the throne room.
Rush!

Cor Angar is a tad quicker, though. Since the immortal referee didn't ban the use of magic, the half-blind Chief Templar puts the confused Ore Baron to sleep... and leaves the premises.
Sleep, my sweetie...

Winner of Round 1: Cor Angar!

Round 2

After the referee did her best to convince Cor Angar to return to the throne room to fight on, the battle continues. This time Gomez doesn't wait for his opponent to play his some magical tricks on him - he quickly nails him to the ground.
Nail him, cowboy!

Winner of Round 2: Gomez!

Round 3

Cor Angar commits the grave error to try and close up on his opponent instead of putting him to sleep from a distance. Gomez uses the Templar's attack to his advantage and spears him on his blade.
Hack and slash

Winner of Round 3: Gomez!

Round 4

This time, the Templar is fast enough to put his magic to good use. Again he sprinkles his fairy dust over the Ore baron who instantly succumbs to Morpheus' beckoning.
Zzzzzzz....

Winner of Round 4: Cor Angar!

Round 5

The final round... and this is over almost as quickly as the others. Gomez' opponent is downed with two heavy blows and pinned to the carpet immediately after that. Gomez returns to his throne, looking quite satisfied with himself.
The End

Winner of Round 5: Gomez!

***

So, ladies and gentlemen, up to now it looks as if Gomez was the superior fighter here in our little colony!
Feel free to challenge the man as I'm always looking for fresh talent!
A good night (or rather, day) to you for now, and we'll surely meet again for yet another Fight Night!

ffbj: Thank you ! Even though I guess I compressed some of them too much this time, picture quality definitely suffered.

Ryan: He did use his sword. Cor Angar fended off Gomez' attacks with it, but he didn't manage to beat the Ore Baron down with his sword. He was only really successful when resorting to magic...

That was cheating. Poor Xardas no spells. Why dont you take Cavalorn vs the other guy on the way to the NC. Or a battle teween The fab four.

Cheating? Hey DzD, I didn't ask Xardas to leave his spells at home! I was pretty surprised that he came without the stuff.

About your suggestions, I noted down the Cavalorn vs. Aidan idea. The Fab Four will be short of impossible... handling more than three fighters (I have to edit their scripts before they wander off) at the same time proved to be too much to handle for me.

But you can do like this

1.Gorn vs Diego
2.Lester vs Milten
3.Lester vs Diego and so on.

You just take two at the time. Not all at once.

As always, a most excellent fight Jaz!
Too bad there doesn't seem to be anyone you can kick Gomez's butt. How about an Ore Baron grudge match next?

Thank you, Val!
Well... Ore Baron grudge match? Okay, I noted it down. Actually, only today I thought of pitting the bodyguards against each other...

DzD - yes, that might work.

Ryan: all you have to do is make them mortal by editing their flags (set flags=0), the rest will come naturally .
