Where is the Pack Leader?

I am in chapter 3 now. I literally killed every single creature/thing in the valley of mines. Or so it seemed...

- I can't find that damn pack leader anywhere. Now that I'm in chapter 3, is it still possible for me to accomplish this quest? Please give good instructions on where to find it. Is it close to the castle? Xardas's old tower? The fire mountain with the red dragon at the top? Is it in an area near or on snow? Is it near any of the other dragons? Please use examples like these whening explaining where exactly it is.

- Is there a way to get past the orc wall in the valley of mines in chapter 2? (yes or no only please!)

- How do you kill the dragons?

- Do those annoying video's whenever you run into a seeker ever stop?!

PS. The voice actor for Diego ruins his character. I'm sort of angry. The developers should have contracts obligating voice actors to stick with their characters. I got attatched to Diego in Gothic, now I feel like I don't even know him...

* Yes, exit the camp where you get the quest, and just walk straight forward instead of turning left. The pack leader is near the foot of that small tower(if he's still around).

*Yes.

- How do you kill the dragons?
*Mage: Spells. Mercenary: Ranged/melee. Paladin: Either spells, or sword.

- Do those annoying video's whenever you run into a seeker ever stop?!
*They never stop, but here's an advice to make it stop. If you attack them from a short distance before they get too close, they'll start attacking you without doing the little "jig".

*I completely agree, Diegos' voice is probably the only thing that makes this game come in 2nd behind Gothic 1 as an RPG.

there is a tower, you can see from the mine, go to it and you'll find the packleader in a gap (looks like a regular snapper (don't forget to take his claws, because they are worth many to a man in the upperquarter of khorinis. .

- You mean the pack leader is near the ruined bridge that is now in the water? Your talking about the towers with a single chest next to each one, right? I climbed up and opened all the chests. I circled all the towers several times. I hope it's not a bug... I want to finnish this darn quest!

- How strong do you have to be to kill dragons? My STR is 95, DEX is 100, LVL 28, currently a member of the militia in chapter 3 wearing heavy militia armor and/or minecrawler plate armor. (I keep both because the plate armor Wolf made me has higher protection against magic and fire, but the heavy militia armor has higher arrow and weapons protection.) Am I strong enough? None of my weapons are doing any damage at all. I have the dragon slayer weapon and a few other originals around the same damage. I've tried attacking all 4 dragons and couldn't hurt any of them.

- How do you get past the orc wall in chapter 2 (instructions)?
Are you supposed to (yes or no only!)?

PS. My original post was much longer... I dosed off and hit the Esc key a few times and it somehow erased all my text... bummer!

Thanks!

There are certain prerequisites that you will have to fulfil. You first need to talk to Fajeth (the Paladin guarding the upper entrance) about his mission for you involving killing Snappers. After that you will need to talk to Bilgot and tell him that you will get him out of the colony. Then, and only then, does that special snapper appear at that tower. As far as I remember it should also be still possible in Chapter 3. After this chapter certain circumstances prevent it.

You need to be in Chapter 4 and you need to have the Eye of Innos equipped, only then will you be able to attack AND hurt the dragons (after a little small talk with them). Also make sure that you recharge the eye after each dragon encounter.

Are you supposed to? Depends on if you want to find out what is behind it.
(A yes, I know I seem cruel by not answering with a straight yes or no but this is a delicate subject.)
Describing how to get behind it is a bit harder. You will need to be at one place where the wall joins up with the mountain formations at the end of a river. There you will be able to climb and jump your way to the top of the wall and get over it. One more tip, use the walk key when you have gotten hold of something and have some patience. I needed about 10 minutes until my tries succeded in getting me over it.
