Thief: Deadly Shadows - Fan-made hi-res textures

John P. has put together some hi-res texture packs for Ion Storm's 'Thief: Deadly Shadows':
Some of the textures in the Ion Storm game "Thief: Deadly Shadows" are lower resolution(lower detail, smaller size)than they have to be. The game looks good, but will benefit from having some of the lesser textures replaced by higher resolution and/or more detailed ones.

This is why I started making high resolution/more detailed textures for the game.

I have tried to make the textures better, but I may also have changed the appearance of some of them slightly in the process.

It is my hope, though, that you will like what I have done.
Follow the link for the full details.

Stuff like this makes me happy, and those are very nice. Now as I've unfortunately not had a chance to get to play the game, that's just a general opinion, and I don't know how they look in-game on my specific computer. Good textures, wouldn't it be nice if every game community had someone like that? =)

John P. again, eh?

He did them for Invisible War and now he does them for Thief too.

Too bad I´m not interested at all. The original textures are fine, better than IW´s anyway. Most of the time I don´t notice them, ´cos the game has such a deep atmosphere. And when there a ton of you-know-whats going crush´n kill
all around the the town, coupled with our local glyph monster, I really don´t have time for graphics.

Anyway, nice work.
