MOd Problems?

Whenever i download a mod and check it in the data files, it shows me this message. "Morrowind.esm is required for this file to be loaded, and it has been changed more recently than this file. You might experience problems with the game.". What does it do and how does it affect the game?

Ignore it, it is of no consequence, the mods will work just fine.
