Joining New camp = Nice fighting skill when u become a mage
Old camp = Guard to new camp and Mage to Water mage when u join the New camp
Brotherhood = The well rounded camp you can do it all
This is what i did
I joined the Old camp became a guard, got kicked out, joined the New camp became a Merc, then a water mage

The Old Camp has one overlooked advantage to the other camps. Its central location means you're never more than a stone's throw away from your home base. Compare this to the huge treks you must make to get back to the other camps and you can see that this is certainly a plus.
This is doubly true in the early to mid stages of the game, before you get teleportation runes. |

Only limitation is this: if you want to be mage as long as it is possible, join OC.
NC allows you to learn magic very late in game
SC allows you to learn only 1 - 4 circle |
