If you German guys had not been so keen on seeing movies and shows voice dubbed in your language, which, btw, takes away like 90 % of the initial scenario and fun, maybe you'd have learnt enough English by now to be able to play a game containing not-so-complex words in the language that everyone tends to understand
Start flaming now....
Flaming ends here j/k
All kidding aside, as a conclusion i want to say that i LOVE companies that keep their employees line pretty slim and produce quality games. In my experience so far, large companies tend to produce the most boring pieces of software and games. But doh, money talks _________________ This game ownz all |

Release date for english is Q1 , as in 3 months , and most places are listing Febuary , and febuary seems good , so i dont know where you got 4 months from , unless your counting December and your not suppose to you know
1. Three months is real soon?

I wonder when the original english demo will be released. They should have already recorded voices to the 1 chapter. |

Hey folks.
I'm one of this "German bastards" who is in the lucky circumstance able to play the German version of Gothic 2.
Game is really great but there are some bugs and performance problems that shouldn't be. As far as I can see in the German forums, PB is working on some serious bugs.
I think the release of a first patch to solve the biggest problems is the main reason for the delay of an English version.
But be patient, it's really worth to wait. I hope you will enjoy this great game as I do.

Mad55, can you fill us in on what kinds of bugs these are? Quest bugs? Performance bugs? Crash bugs? Graphics bugs? All of the above? |

I am playing the game since Nov 30th and so far I haven't encountered any serious bugs. Well, I am not very far into the story ( second chapter, to be precise - it took me more than 40 hours just to finish chapter one ). There were some harmless quest bugs so far: e.g. I am a mage and I could still do some quests that are for those who want to become a mercenary. Twice or thrice the game has crashed, but that's not very much considering how much I've played. Once "Me" got stuck and couldn't move, but that was no problem, thanks to Marvin. The most annoying bug so far is that often in dialogue mode ( interaction with NPCs, shrines etc. ) the program thinks that I have no gold. But it's no problem - just drop your gold and pick it up again and all is fine.
So far the first release version seems to have surprisingly few bugs. _________________ "Time to toss the dice." Matrim Cauthon |

I think that your one of the gamers that producers woould like to meet more often RobKob, most of players complain about every litlle bug and you say that something like droping money and picking it up again is nothing |
