Wizard requests locations of Tempus and Mortis |
|
Hi,
I've got my rune collection pretty much done, except I'm still missing tempus and mortis. I even found Frida, which is a cool rune to own. Where can I find tempus and mortis? I would like to try disabling traps and raising undead, and also time stopping.
On Litch killing:
What I do is cast Invisibility, then Mana drain. I walk up to the litch and suck magic to keep the invisibility going. Since litches and snake women apparently have an inexhaustible supply of mana, I can keep invisible so they don't attack. Meanwhile, I can cast fireball in their faces to my heart's content and they don't know what hit them! The last one cast protection from fire, so after I got tired of throwing fireballs, I gave up and smacked it with the sword. It went down in one shot. I wonder how lightening would work when they're protecting against fire? This method has worked twice for me, and I didn't even get scractched :)
Killing Ylsides is another problem, and much more difficult. They don't have infinite mana and they are highly magic resistant. You can go invisibly and fireball them in the face, but sometimes three fireballs won't bring one down. Sometimes one will. It seems random. |

If you mean Morte (Death) and I think you do, it is on level 6, room 10, where you get the shield. If you did that part and need more details, let me know. I don't want to send a total spoiler if not asked. The other one is on the lich you kill on the way out after getting the shield. BTW that is a great idea for lich killing. I have never heard that one. You learn something new everyday. Cheers to you. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=
