Check out the stuff you have and see if you can "Use it" on the things you are wearing and holding. If you hover over items like "poison" the stuff you can use it on will flash brighter in on and off fashion, letting you know you can use it on that item. Object knowledge has a lot to do with this ability. Then after you use the stuff on your possessions, look at them and see if it says Ready to be enchanted. If you see that and can enchant stuff, they work better, last longer and do more damage. You have to pay attention and try these things each time you level up, as what you can do will change with your increased knowledge. You need 14 strength, and then the rest object knowledge and casting and some dexterity. You will find rings and armor and stuff that will increase these for you as well. When you enchant items, it raises these numbers, so look at your stats when you find or improve your equipement. It really doesn't take a lot of work to assign the points well. The stuff like rings and enchantments that you can do give you a lot more control. For instance, casting, put on two rings before doing it. Going into battle with demons? Put on the rings that protect you from majic. Or have two or three regeneration rings with you. This stuff makes it a challenge and gives you some instant means to help yourself. You have a lot of stuff yet to find so be patient, sell or store the big stuff, and keep the rest until you know what you have and what it is good for. One hint, get to store in city of Arx as soon as you can, you can buy something there that will let you stack a lot of the same thing into one spot. Have fun. _________________ =Member of the Nonflamers Guild=
