Deus Ex: Invisible War - Review @ Gamer's Pulse |
Gamer's Pulse has reviewed Deus Ex: Invisible War. The score is 46-50/50 with a "Seal of Excellence":
In nearly all of its aspects, Invisible War has been designed to maximize non-linearity and player choice while expounding a truly intriguing story. The open-ended gameplay of the original has categorically evolved in the sequel, making for an experience that is almost wholly driven by the player. While several other titles have implemented dynamic non-linearity in their gameplay, most only offer two or three solutions to a given situation; Invisible War is the first to truly offer gameplay that provides for limitless potential. Problems have multiple solutions that balance action, stealth, puzzle solving, and role-playing.
