Blood hounds and two handers... |
|
First of all....there is this place where I am guessing the focus is....had to beat down a ton of blood hounds....but how the heck do I take on orc fighters and orc warriors? I can take one at a time no problem....but more than one and I'm overwhelmed. Also...two handers are way slow in response time....they get more hits on me than I do to them...I have one level of 2h swords but still its not helping....how do I get them to be more effective? and besides Scar's sword are there any other one handers that are just as good? One handers seem to be alot quicker and quickness seems to keep them at bay.....so any help on this please. _________________ "What are you gonna do? Release the dogs?! Or the bees?! You'll find that bloodhounds go down a lot easier with bow.
I'm guessing you're level 2 with one handed and level 1 with 2 handed? Well, stick with your one handed then. Damage is less... but there's more chance a hit is successfull each time you swing.
Too many orcs? Can't just beat a bunch of them down until you've got real good armor (so they can't damage you as you're picking them off one by one.)
I normally use bow... shoot and run. At some point the orcs will stop chasing, or only one is left chasing... them draw your sword and slash him to bits! |

TiP!! If you are a mage throw one fully charged storm of fire at a bloodhound, it will kill him instantly. |

I wormed my way around them dressed up as a scavenger, meaning I used the cheap-and-easy-to-get morph-into-a-scavenger spell. Scavengers are fast, and if you manage to avoid the orc dogs you're set. Bloodfly is better still but the Bloodfly spells are a bit more difficult to come by. _________________ Jaz |

You worm!
Anyway... if you're strong enough to beat up scar for his sword, you probably can beat up the mage who sells you scrolls too. They're easy to beat up!
Take note though... if you don't belong to the camp, the guards who protect the mage will come after you! If you belong to the camp... nobody cares!

When you fight bloodhounds with your 2h, do you block? I found blocking very effective. After they swing at you, swing instantly. So they don't recover from their swing at you yet. And make darn sure you don't get caught in midswing. Like if you start a combo, make sure you follow it through to the end. Otherwise you get caught off-guard, with your sword to the side and basically big sign attached to your back saying "kick me!" _________________ (@) |
