Warrior level 35:
Stregth: 100(100-10=90) - you start with 10, so you only need 90 skillpoints.
1H weapon master: 10+20=30
2H weapon master: 30+40=70
Total: 100
I would also advice a warrior to get acrobatics, so I spend 10 skillpoints there.
Dexterity: 100(100-10=90)
Bow: 10+20=30
Note: There is no need for a crossbow - the differense is only 88 compared to 100(not a lot in the end of the game).
Total use of skillpoints:
100+90+10+90+30=320
30 skillpoints available to spend in any way you want.
Here is the perfect, level 35, magician:
The 6 circle (10+15+20+25+30+40=140)
Mana: 100(100-10=90) you start with 5, and get 5 for the delivery of the letter.
Weapons: Expert in 1H weapon: 10+20=30
Master in 2H weapon: 30+40=70
You should now have 100 mana, and 35 in strength(Horratio will give you 5 points) without the potions of strenth and mana.
Any comments on either on of these?

All in all id say very nice chars. I would master crosbow however just because it is fun, and sometimes that 12 point dmg difference is the difference between killing a npc in one hit or 2. There's my 2 cents

Well, he's got enough skillpoints if you go for crossbow instead of bow.. sounds like a good idea - he would still have 10 points afterwards. |

I go for both bow and crossbow. you need the bow for the temple cause the crossbow wont auto aim at the targets. Plus the way ME stands when he has whatever weapon he is using mastered just looks cool

No need for mastery of the bow. It will hit those blinks no matter what. |

Mastering the bow allows it to shoot faster and score more critical hits. It doesn't matter much... no more than any combat skill in Gothic... but numerically there it is.

I know, so going for both mastery of the bow, and mastery of the crossbow is a waste of time and skillpoints. Going for mastery in single handed weapons is needed when you're going to learn two handed weapons(unless you join the new camp). |
