GoldenLand: Preview @ Worthplaying

Worthplaying has posted a preview of Burut's turn-based CRPG, 'GoldenLand', which was recently picked up by Strategy First. Here's an excerpt:
At the outset, let me say that Goldenland is a huge, sprawling, well designed RPG that takes me back to the great old days when RPG’s dominated the gaming market. The frenetic shooters of today were still in their infancy, so strategy and role-playing were among the best games available. Goldenland follows this rich tradition with a game that is both very familiar, yet quite innovative.

Goldenland

Been keeping an eye on this one for a time. Looks like a Baldur's Gate clone (one of my favorites) and has some nice artistic design in the graphics.

Recent rumours are Strategy First might not be long for this world, so this game might never be coming out. Pity, I was looking forward to it.

Those rumors smell like bullcrap to me. I sure hope they are.

I want Goldenland, Disciples 3, and the new Jagged Alliance games.

With as much noise as they've been making about Goldenland and the new JA games recently I seriously doubt they're about to go under.
