Post-Patch Crashing

Has anybody else experienced an increase in the number of crashes since applying the patch? Before the patch, the game would crash every couple of hours (due to the memory leak, I think). But after the patch, the game crashes every twenty minutes or so. And it appears to be getting worse. Today, the game crashed twice within five minutes of loading. Also, I have had three corrupted quicksave files since applying the patch (never had any pre-patch).

Also, is there anyway to stop the warnings you get about plug-ins being invalid that were installed prior to the patch? I have read earlier in the forum that it is not really a problem, but it is pretty annoying.

I reinstalled the game and got rid of all my saved games. Still the game crashes alot more than without the patch. I also get the crashes while loading also.

I think you have to open the plugs in the editor, and just resave them. This should get rid of the warnings. However, this can be time-consuming if you have more than thre or so. I have about twenty running, and I go without the patch. So far, I havenīt heard anyone having something really good to say about it, and after this thread, I donīt think Iīll install it at all.

Good things: enemy health bar, difficulty settings
Bad things: look up
Conclusion: not worth the trouble

morrowind runs good at the moment, so i don't take the risk with the patch.

I don't really miss the enemy health bar.
And difficulty is good for me, don't need to ajust that.
So i don't use the patch, i have it stored in case i need it.

Same frequency of crash or lockups so I have no problem with the patch. One or the other happens every couple of hours if I don't take care of the memory leaks.

I have learned my lessons on slow downs (memory leaks). When they start getting bad, always save, exit the game, reboot computer. Otherwise crash time and always at a most inoportune time.

I've also noticed more crashing post-patch. For me the crash can usually occur in two situations:

1) sometimes when I quick load
2) sometimes when I'm getting attacked by a bunch of baddies.

That second one is a really strange time to crash. Maybe the game is trying to save me the anguish of watching my guy get ripped to shreds...
