How do you do the Alchemy thing...??

Guys,

I am playing Morrowind and am totally immersed in it.

You know its good so I won't rattle on about that.

My question is, how do you actually use the Alchemy skill ?

I have a Pestle & Mortar (cant find any shells to fire from the mortar though ..hahaha) and some weird and wonderful "ingredients".

There are also 2 or 3 mechanical implements (cant remember what they are called).

Do I just equip the P & M....?

Yes, equip it, and drag ingredients into the boxes. You need at least two common effects to produce the desired potion.
