I just got notr and would like to ask bunch of questions! |
|
Well i'm so relieved after i instaled notr and got this wonderfull translate-mod to work with it.So kudos to modders for allowing us to play this wonderfull addon! btw what about movie subtitles?
So those questions...but please put no spoilers, just general advices thanks
1.Is the notr much harder compared to the vanilla gothic 2? i discovered allready that monsters give less xp.Also the rusty sword i found from the valley where lester keeps his camp, requires 30 strenght!quite a shock for an old geezer..
2.I'm thinking about playing a mage so, is the mage's path as impossible as some rumors claim. To give some contrast, I had no difficulties being a mage in gothic 2, but all these fixes wíth stats and skills indicate that the path is going to be more difficult this time..
3.Should i download this NotR Customizer if i choose to be a mage?i don't mind some difficulties, but if playing a mage means lots of frustration.. _________________ The focused mind can pierce through stone |

It is harder but is far from frustrating... and for example all is more balaced (for example you can get in the begining wolf knife with increase damage)
As for the magician path...I enjoy it very much. Only in the begining 3 acts is a little bit harder but you can buff you strengh enough to face anything , except mobs, and your armour will still going to be enough becouse you are going to use other then mage (like pirates or crawlerplates and all)
So my advice is to just play the game becouse is greate _________________ The ability to quote is a serviceable substitute for wit.

I would just try it as it is. You can always start using the customizer if you get frustrated (But personaly I wouldnt recommend it).
I would expect that you will have to be a lot more tactical when playing as a mage (which is how it should be). _________________ IMHO my opinion is humble |
