was wondering if you could join all 3 lower guilds and stack the exp from the quest within them. like joining thiefs guild, novice of the mages, and becoming a citizen. can i join the the mercs even though i have joined thiefs guild, become citizen of korinis etc?........but i know you can not join he higher guilds like fire mage, city militia/paladin etc, all at once. |

Well, your talking about the addon right?
I dont know about that, but i do know that when you become a citizen in gothic 2 You can still join all the main main guilds (Not together, you can still choose beetwin all the main guilds) Its the same thing when you join the thievs guild in gothic 2.. |

You can be a citizen of Khorines and a thief, it doesn't matter what major-guild you choose. I'm a dragon hunter a thief and a citizen. You can't join two or more of the major-guild (novice, mercenary or militia).  |

EVD, i think he was talking about the addon..
Coz in the addon there are more sub guilds (Guilds like the thievs guild)
If im correct there are:
Water mages, Pirets and bandits right? |

no necromancers in the addon
u can be
-black magician
-water mage
-pirate
-ring of water <-- like paladins but there ppl fight for water mages in other words for adanos
-bandits |

i'm citizen (paladin) and thieving guild, but i'm stuck in the quest with the blood chalices, cant find the chalices, only got one lol, from the moneylender

Anybody who is an RPG nut has ordered Gothic 2 LONG ago, the US is waaaaaaaaaaaaay behind.
Gothic 2 addon is still only in German though, hopefully it will be out in English shortly. But if it follows the same suit as the main game then you wont get it for months after the UK has it.
But since Atari is official publisher now I think it will probably come out quicker (As long as it isnt riddled with bugs)

US rules! Most of the good games are made here. Gothic 2 is awesome but c'mon..send it to us already..addon and all..this is the only game NOT made in the US that is good. Anyone remember Gortathul: legacy of the dragon? example of non-US made game. |

you could have gotten the US version way before the release date... well technically it is the UK version but its the same, just order it from gogamers.com or wizardsandwars.com, im sure they will have the UK addon before the Us does too

hmmm, another example of US arrogance. Gothic is the only game made outside the US that is any good????
