Can you actaully get ore from those big blocks of ore on the walls of the mine?
I went up to it and started banging away with my pick, and nothing seems to happen, is it just there for show, or is there a reason you can pick at it? |

You can hit it all day for fun I suppose, but you will find other things to use the pick for. |

HUH! In my days a lad would do a hard days work in the mine and be thankful for it! Young folks these days...
You only need to keep one pick the rest are just trade goods. |

Ah! Just the question I exited my Gothic session to come here and ask/find out about. I read a magazine whilst my guy worked at the ore. I was thinking of Ultima Online - that a bit of effort may yield me some ore which I could use as currency. I have a large stack of training points, but not enough ore to spend on the trainers to learn things.
