Jack Tramiel was pretty bad, IMO.
He ran down an entire line of computers. But I see your point. |

Although a Fallout MMORPG does sound tempting (and don't you slam me a heretic), I very much doubt that it will be 1) cheaper that making FO3, or FOBOS 2, 2) IP definately does not have neither the financial, not the devoloping resources to make it, and considering 2), comes 3) Given the current status of the MMORPG market ( some huge titles already out, some huge titles coming up soon, far too many huge titles canned, some publishers (among which are Ubi Soft, M$, EA) turning their back on the genre) I highly doubt that someone will actually buy the license for such a title. However cheap Caen sales it (This reminds me that Caen obviously is trying to sale partial FO license, rather that the whole of it). And given that selling any Interplay licence gives some more time of Caen at the top, I hope noone buys anything from Interplay, as that means that the licence will be sold out for sure, with someone else on top.
That would definately mean seeing all the cancelled games out (I cannot help but dreaming TORN out, even without the BIS logo), as well as new games in our favorite other franchaizes - Jim, Descent (not my favorite, but old fans would love it), and so on. |

True. Caen has run down 2 companies, Titus and Interplay, and hasn't paid his employees for almost 2 months now. Doesn't help his reputation. |

I guess what blows my mind is how it happens that people putting in LOTS of hours into making computer games (NOT console games) are not getting paid for their efforts. |

I posted this link in another thread. It looks like it's all over for Interplay. |

Heh, "alive" in that dawn of the dead sense.
Or like the episode of Tales from the Dark Side when an old man died but didn't realize it and wouldn't accept it was true when people told him. Until he sneezed and blew his nose off into his hankerchief, then he layed down and accepted that he was dead. I'm just waiting on Herve to sneeze. |

Oops... sorry. I thought the date in the upper right was the date of the article. I didn't see the "posted" date at the bottom.
Grrr. I just found the old link article in the newsbit archives. I missed it the first time. |
