Can you save your stuff in one of the huts in the camp or will someone take it? Might be a stupid question I don't know. |

Oh I didn't know that. Thanks. But lastnight I made a challange to a fighter and after he kicked the crap out of me he took about 200 ore. I knew I was gonna lose so I wanted to put my ore somewhere but didn't know if that was a good idea. |

I put my ore in the hut in OC once...but I didn't leave it for long.
What you can do is,save the game, put something in the chest,go to another camp and sleep for 3-4 days or so,then run back and check if it's still there.
If not you just have to reload the game.
One reason to dump the ore at least can be if you're going to fight a human...and you're not certain you'll win.
You might also want to have a bit less stuff in there for when you trade so it's easier to find what you want to sell. |

oh thats different
yea what you do is, take your ore and just drop it on the ground (LOL)
Yea, I hate losing ore too. So out of pure greed, I figured out that lil trick.
No one will walk past and just pick it up, its safe.
Besides, if you store stuff in chest, god forbid you get to a quest spot and remember you forgot to grab it from chest...or worse yet, you forgot WHICH chest its stored in. |

You could store stuff in the chests in your own hut safely; but, like everyone points out; WHY? There is really nothing in the game to store; if you don't need it, trade it. There is no weight penalty for carrying items. Plus, if you were at the Sect Camp and needed something that you stored in the Old Camp, what are you going to do. Sure, if you have the teleport rings' but still you're just waisting game time going back and forth.

I've become really choosy about what I even pick up now. Before I would be a packrat and pick up junk until my inventory was so clogged I had to scroll down for a full minute just to get to my crossbows. Now I think about what value a thing could have for me if I pick it up.
Like I've said before, I don't trade often. It's a much better profit margin if you beat people up and rob them blind. |

You can put stuff anywhere you want - chests or on the ground. Everything I have put down (or in chests) is still there when I check back. We are the only thieves in this game .
