Why is Gothic so short?

Well I must admit that Gothic is probably one of the best games that I have ever played , well at least that was what I was thinking untill last night when it suddenly finished!

I was at level 33, a Templar of the Brotherhood , master in two-handed swordfighting, magic Circle 4 , skilled in Acrobatics and with more than 100 skill points yet to distribute.....I wanted to advance to Circle 6 but the Baal responsible for magic training would not train me more than circle 4, nor did Xardas or Saturas!I also wanted to become a master in the bow and crossbow but unfortunately I saved the colony before having the time to do all this things...

I really enjoyed playing the game but I wish it was longer. I also don't understand how you can reach till level 100(I saw a list on a site with the expirience points required to reach up to 100 level),since I managed to finish it so early!Also how can I advance to Circle 6 if no one is training me?Or maybe I shouldn't have became a Templar ? Should I have waited to become a guru??(Is it possible?)

Well, I will appreciate all kinds of answers, comments,opinions, anyone has to offer ,anything that will ease my frustration!

Thank you all in advance!

You canīt be a guru.
You canīt become circle 6 if you join the SC.
You canīt be in level 100. It is normal that you end around level 30.
The site you saw was probably www.ariakas1.com

That may ease your frustation.

You can make level 100, but only with cheats.

I have a BIG cheat character.

Mana = 751985761

The numbers isīnt exectly. But it is something like that.

I allmost have every armor in the game.

I have alot of summon spells. After that I had played with them the OC was a skeleton camp. The skeletons leader was a shadowbeast (ME).
