Help!

Hi there, a friend of mine from Germay just lent me the game... But I can't understand the wole manual.... The game is in English but I can't understood something... Could you help me until I wait the Italian version?
1- How could I raise strenght and the other char? Must I found someone who could learn it to me right?
2- I've seen I got some abilities points available... How could I spent them?
Plz HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some other advice for increasing the PG abilities would be appreciated!

First of all, you CAN increase your str, dex, mana.. etc by learning it from some people.
Just talk to everyone you can, and if you got "can you teach me something?"
he'll show you what he can teach you for an amout of LP.(learning points).
at start its 5LP for 5(str,dex.. etc).
you can raise your str at the Blacksmith on the left at the Harbor.
you can raise your mana and regain health for free at the water mage in the Temple at the city.

in time you'll get to know the city and the game better.
