Shipcrew and elixir that raises permanent mana |
|
Does it matter how many crewmembers you get hold of? I´ve got ANgar, Gorn, Milten, Lee, Mario, Bennet and Jurgen. Anyone else I´ve missed? I´ve thought of skipping Mario since I don´t know if he can be trusted. Am I right or just being too paranoid?
Who can teach med to brew Mana elixir(the one that gives you permanent raises to you mana)? _________________ For something to be gained- something must be sacrificed. |

It'S not too important. you can take maximum 10 people with you. Also take Vatras. Milten and Vatras can offer you King's Sorrel which is needed to make permanent potions. Mario is possesed. He doesn't help you in anyway. But you can get 5000 exp if you take him with you. Also this thread may be useful for you :

Sagitta the herb witch can teach you. Her cave is behind the Sekob's farm. |

Huh? Why do one get 5000 exp for letting a possessed sod on the boat? That makes no freakin´ sense!
Btw... who is Marco, they spoke of him as a potential crewmember too. _________________ For something to be gained- something must be sacrificed. |

When first the orcs attack to the ship, he runs away and diseappers. When you find him and realise that he is possessed, you get 5000 exp. That's all. I don't know why you get 5000 exp. It's a stupid thing I think =)
And I think Marco is a same person, I mean Mario ? Because I haven't met man named Marco in the game ? It's only dictation mistake, eh? |

I´m as baffled as you, maybe he is named Marco in the German version or something. I´ve heard that people have different names in that one. _________________ For something to be gained- something must be sacrificed. |

Aye, who knows? Maybe... I´ll have to get hold of tze germans to get that answer I guess.
I gather it that you´ve finished Gothic II already? WHat level did you have then? Did you do like me and slaughtered all the orcs in the Valley of Mines just for the exp? _________________ For something to be gained- something must be sacrificed. |

Sarlic..Vatras can teach you all potions in chapter 6 if you take him with you as a crew member
i completed the game a few days ago as a Dragonhunter (sig) and i was practically invurnerable in the end
the challenge ends after you become lvl 15..then you can kill anything 1on1 without any major problems which is bad (or good..depends o how you see it)
hehe..this post may have been a little off-topic but i had to get it out of me
i slaughtered all creatures i saw or heard about really..and i explored almost the whole map in each chapter _________________ Finished Game With Level 37 Dragon Hunter.

Predator: Please... seek som counceling.
TheGreatMoose: Yeah yeah, brag away. I also think it get´s to easy arounf lvl 15. How do you think it feels now when I´m lvl 29 Paladin and have the banish evil rune? 300 in damage just like that and only costs 15 mana. If it works on the final dude... he is really screwed. WHY did you rais yor strenght to 210??? The phatest weapon I found only demanded 80 in strenght(dragonslicer) _________________ For something to be gained- something must be sacrificed. |

I had 14 Kings sorrel and 12 dragon root and a bunch of goblin berries and alot of healing roots left when i got to chapter 6 (i hadn't learned to make andy permanent elixirs) so i made elixirs of em all
i made str potions until o got 170 or 180 and made 3-4 life elixirs.. and a couple of dexterity elixirs with all the herbs..that's why...and i wanted to be able to kill a lizard in 1 hit
EDIT: oh..and as a dragonhunter you ge the option to make potions out of dragoneggs as well
each potion = 15str
i only had enough to make 2 of them though _________________ Finished Game With Level 37 Dragon Hunter.

After I finish my creature MOD ; they will make more of a challenge. I can alter any creature armor, damage, damage type (gave wolves arrow peirce type damage), magic using dragon spit fire (or wave of death) and other spells now, more hitpoints, strg, dex etc. Hardcore players only. Of course I make more new toys like rings and armor, even a flaming arrow for sale at a merchant for rangers to use alittle magic.
I am finishing up my weapons MODs and tutorial to see how people think it would balance game out more. You can even alter spells damage; anything with a constant value in the game.dat file with a hex editor.
I am still waiting for my real computer upgrade so I can play G2 in it full glory, my old P3 733Mhz is on life support.
I assume they have a download section here for some MODs and tutorials to make this even a more fun game; not to cheat but to enhance it.
I want dragons very powerful; and the most evil toughest creature for a joke of them all: Fear the Giant Rat King somewhere in Korinis, lurking around ready to attack, be very afraid; he bites and chase you down dead Willard the Wizard Rat... _________________ Wo ist mein Sumpfkraut? |

Orcs are everywere. Arghh ! * Nightmare *
Um um hehm =)
@Sarlac: More Strenght means more damage with critical damage. Critical damage= Strenght+ Weapon's damage. %100 skill = %100 critical damage. So If you have 100% skill and 100 str, you do +100 damage. Uf you have %100 skill and 200 str you do +200 damage . It's not necessary . But you feel stronger hehe
@TheGreatMoose : Potion you mentioned can be made also by paladins. (I know because I did heh) And how did you get another 10 eggs to make another +15 potion ? |
