For the faint of heart: teleport to some other place (Brotherhood...)

For those not faint of heart (this is what I always did): go out of Xardas' room until you're not under a roof anymore. You ought to face the tower by which you came in now. Jump up to the tower's roof, there are several stone spikes ringing it. Walk to the stone spike that faces the tall mountain, there's a grassy ledge underneath it. Walk along the spike until you can't go any further along it. Jump towards the highest mountain so you hit its side; slide off the mountain peak and land safely and unharmed on the grassy ledge. Wander along its rim, you can see the road where you met the Golems now. Jump down.

I prefer to jump into the water hole off to the side of the tower.

That's no fun. You don't want to exploit bugs if it's you first time through; that's cheating. Just take the swan dive.
And you shouldn't use such language. Bad anon, BAD!

Just jump into the lake and prey you fall into deep waters, otherwise you will have to go through the wonderful procedure of LOADING THE GAME.

If you jump into the lake, be sure and launch off the furtherest pointed end on the ledge. Also if you have Acrobatics, dont jump at the point like you would do if you dont have it, cause you will jump to far.

If you try the ledge instead of the lake you at the very least don't get wet - and if you catapult yourself against the big rock, you don't get hurt, either.

I always smashed my skull when doing the lake dive...

Well, there is that aspect of it, but that's part of what makes it so fun. It's like bungey jumping without a cord... Hey wait, I've been bungey jumping without a cord? That's dangerous! Well, my heart's now beating in my throat.

Did that make any sense?
