In the beginning of chapter 3, I'm supposedly to go and kick some orc butt, but first I wanted to upgrade. So I thought, if I just run away from "what's-his-name-T-something?" he'll be right where I left him waiting for me.
Quite wrong, he's nowhere to be seen .... what do I do? Search for it myself? Where is it? A minor hint appreciated.

Maybe he went to the location alone. Walk back the path to the Old Camp. He could be waiting in front of the bridge to the left, a few hundred meters behind the waterfalls.
