After the Sleeper (ending)

Can someone PLEASE tell me what happens after you stab the Sleeper's last heart?!? When the FMV sequence begins, the game crashes. I've tried it over and over and it always does the same thing. So I have no clue what happens to our character and the barrier.

So, if someone would like to take the time to explain to me what happens i'd really appreciate it!!

Thanks in advance!

How to watch the movies was explained at least 2 times in the last few days. Check the troubleshooting forum.

The ending is not that great. You can predict the whole thing already. After you stab the last heart, a dimensional gateway opens up and pulled the Sleeper into it. Without the Sleeper, the barrier disappears. The Gothic world is free again.

Do you go right? Or do you go left? A simple decision, yes? No ambiguities. Only the dream of the path not taken! And so one might stand in this place and contemplate for a long while. What will I miss if I go left? What will I lose if I go right? And in my indecision, have I chosen a worse fate?

I stabbed the last heart with a demon clawing at my backside. With a loud noise the infernal gate which had brought the Sleeper to this world opened, and began sucking everything in the vicinity into it. The Sleeper clawed drastically at the pedestal his pinions screeching across the rock as he was pulled towards the opening. I leapt onto the pedestal holding Uriziel before me. A bolt a lightning burst forth from the blade and sent the Sleeper tumbling and screaming into the nether realms. (Roll Credits). That's it. The game is over.

The ending is pretty bad and leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Hopefully these will be answered in Gothic 2.

Aw c'mon. It wasn't that bad.

It was an ending.

Actually it's pretty clever. It leaves you with so many questions which you just hope you find the answers to when you buy Gothic 2.

Yep. Like the Empire Strikes Back, you know you're coming back. And paying the $44.99 for the privilege
