I'm not far along, like lvl 5, and already this journal is buggin' me! Is there any way to edit it? Or is it best left alone, cause you never know what you need? Any thoughts?

I've had some books that added to my stats, but I'm wondering how hard you need to concentrate on the info. Is most of this stuff just lore, or is there game info?
