Some questions?!

Hi there! I need to get answerd at three main questions.... (Sorry for my bad English...)
1- Where can I get a damn map of the land?
2- I've just become an apprentice and i've tried to get to the upper quarters but i've found I must also jion the militia to get access the main buildings right?
3- Could I join both the militia and the Onar's MErcenaries or choose only one of them?

1. Harbour area of Korinis, after passing tavern turn right. There is map merchant in the next building.
2. You are apprentice, so you are citizen, go and talk to paladins guarding entrance to upper area. Tell them you are citizen. They should let you in.
3. No, you have to choose whether to become militia>paladin, mercenary>dragon hunter or novice>mage.
