| pentium III-450 on morrowind |
|
im planning to buy morrowind but my pc is only a pentimu III-450mhz. but i got a s3 savage4 vc and 256 ram. will the game work and will i suffer poor framerates with this speed? |

I doubt you will be able to run this game on S3 video card. I doubt this card is supported and I doubt you will run it at 450 CPU PC.
Extremly slow video card + extremly slow CPU = you will probably not be able to play this game with everything min. |

I agree. I don't think you will get much pleasure from this game with your current specs. I'm not happy with the performance I'm getting with a 1333 Mhz T-bird, 512 mb ram and Geforce4 Ti4400 so your system will probably not deliver even with everything set to minimum. |

Save your Morrowind money and other monies  and you should be able to play when you get a system that has 21st century specs... |

Stealth, with your system you should have EXCELLENT performance.
to the OP: I doubt your vid card is supported. But if you run under 98, and are willing to try it, go ahead. If you use xp, dont bother. |

Maybe I'm a bit picky but I'm not tottaly happy with outdoor performance. Combat is not choppy but I had expected better performance from my specs. |

Dan: ALWAYS buy EVERYTHING in shops where you can bring it back. I had so many problems with lots of games (broken BG cd's etc), and I thank god that my shop is not so strict on their own rules:)
But you can also try a pirated version/borrow it so you can see if it runs. But once again, what do YOU find acceptable? If you want 1 billion FPS, forget it. If its mosty gameplay you want with the graphics as nice extra, then gogogogo for it:)) |

I am from Czech republic as you can read under my avatar. If you will wait until it will be released here, I will wait more then 2 moths from now. That means I will not wait, but I will ask my uncle in Germany to buy it and send it to me. It should be out there on 7th May, so I suppose, I will have it around 12 or 15 May. |
