Am I the only person playing this game or just the dumbest? |
|
Why am I the only one that needs help? I feel so stupid. I am in the
ore mines and there are lumps of ore and I have a pickaxe, but when
I click on the "lump of ore", my character starts swinging away at the ore,
but he is never able to free any for him to pick up. Am I too weak? My
strength is 75 or am I just not doing something right? Thanks again for
your help ... |

You can't mine ore..........they should have allowed it, but you can't do it. _________________ Chris: Dad, what's the blow-hole for?

Otherwise it would have become to easy to become very rich (lumps of ore cost a fortune in Gothic II). |

It's just another one of those random action things you can do. Like sitting, sawing, hammering, smoking water pipes, and climbing inside barrels (still don't understand that one).
Just be happy you can't mine ore or you'd be locked up in a mine until you got eaten.
And you're not dumb, most of us got the game when it first came out and have already gotten any help we needed. _________________ A new day, and nothing has changed. |

i belife the barrel thing was claimed to be so that you could fight monsters in the dark whit a tourch in hond hand and a sword in the other ..
light a tourch, jump in and while down there draw your weapon to jump out like a jack in the box ..
still doesnt make much sense but fun and sligthly use full though _________________ Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtsy,

I have hidden in a barrel to let a seeker pass by. He never saw me or "activated" They must be safe areas when things go bad, but I have never gotten into a barrel while being chased, so I dunno what would happen in that case. _________________ Chris: Dad, what's the blow-hole for?

I jumped into a barrel in the Old Mine in G1. The Minecrawlers would circle the barrel but they couldn't get to me. As soon as I "popped up" I was worm food. |

Something about hiding in a filthy barrel doesn't seem very heroic. Sounds like something Mud would do. _________________ A new day, and nothing has changed. |
