Just beat him up, dont use any weapons just your hands

I used my sword and it didn't seem to matter.

It doesn´t matter how u beat him up, just talk to the guy that gave u the mission after u have beaten Shriek up

after you beat S up,
talk to S and select "get lost",
then talk to Gorn
