Best PC for this game?

Go ahead and tell me what you think. I kinda want to use a laptop so I can go outside and keep an eye on my kids while I'm playing, but I'm doubtful that I could get a good 'gaming' laptop. Disabuse me, please!

Current pc: Win98 SE, PIII800, 128MB, 40GBHDD, 32MB NVidia Riva TNT, 17" crappy monitor, kick-a$$ speakers but an onboard sound card in need of a very deep hole .

Dell and Toshiba both make laptops that are fine for gaming, including the relatively new GeForce2Go video chip. Check out Dell's website for specifics; I am sure that Toshiba has a website too.

Indeed, in 1999, I bought a laptop with a 333mghz processor and an 8 meg. ATI Rage Pro video card. I played many hours of Everquest on this machine just fine, as well as titles like System Shock 2 and Rogue Spear (800 by 600 resolution). Now, with the new Nvidia chips for laptops, gaming is even better on a laptop.

Hope this helps.
