Roma Victor: Pre-Orders Open

Historical MMORPG <a href="http://www.roma-victor.com/" target="_blank">Roma Victor</a> has opened <a href="http://www.roma-victor.com/preorder/" target="_blank">pre-orders</a> at the official site. I'd love to tell you the details - the price, when...anything really...but the link requires a forum user name and password to even access it and defaults to a rather blunt error otherwise.

Roma Victor is currently scheduled for limited edition launch in April 2006. This web page offers Roma Victor enthusiasts the opportunity to guarantee their place in the first 1500 players. In order to further reward our keenest fans, two additional incentives are also offered. Firstly, Preorder customers will enjoy exclusive access to the live game servers for two weeks prior to launch. Secondly, Preorder customers will be granted immediate access to the current Roma Victor Commercial Test.

We must remind everyone interested in purchasing a Roma Victor Account Key via the Preorder scheme that the server and client software that you will gain access to before launch is not the final server or client software. Many features will be incomplete, buggy and/or unstable. Furthermore the world data is likely to be wiped more than once before launch. RedBedlam's priority for this period must remain development of the final product and service.

Bear in mind however that the �5 worth of Sesterces allocated to your account will be fully restored after each wipe and of course at launch. This also applies to any further Sesterces that you acquire using the VERM while taking part in the Commercial Test.
Please also note the following system requirements before proceeding. If your system does not meet these requirements you should consider waiting until launch when the Roma Victor client may be more likely to support your hardware and/or operating system.

Requirements:

At least 512MB system RAM

Processor faster than 2GHz

A non-integrated graphics card with at least 128MB RAM (with shader support)

Windows XP

DirectX 9.0c
Recommendations:

At least 1024MB system RAM

Processor faster than 2GHz

An AGP 8x or PCI-Express graphics card with at least 128MB RAM (supporting at least Shader Model 2.0)

Windows XP Professional (with Service Pack 2)

DirectX 9.0c
