morrowind : some technical probs

1) whenever morrowind needs to load an area or I load/save a game, I get a complete grey/black/white screen; after the loading, all things go back to normal. never had this before (bloodmoon?)

2) I get VERY frequent crashes to desktop now too.

I have to agree with Dteowner - sounds like clean reinstall time!

I've not heard any of these issues reported before, so it sounds like something's corrupted the installation. Let's hope it hasn't corrupted your save games!

1) Do a clean install and without any mods, then defrag hard disk before running.

2) Many people got more CTD after install Bloodmoon. No absolute cure for this one - it's related to old CTD in original Morrowind. You can tinkering with Morrowind.ini file or updating all hardware drivers , then pray to God that no more CTD!.

Some people with crappy computer and yet when their installed Bloodmoon, everything works fine! - even less CTD & such.
