I've gotten stabbed in the chest while unconscious, but I haven't been able to do it myself... how do you do it? |

Kill someone in a town around the guards and see if they don't give a damn. Every guard in the town will chase you around. If they catch you, they'll kill you instead of knocking you out and taking your stuff. Also, every commoner who witnessed it will flee in terror. |

I think you have to be at least at level 10 to kill people. I found it disheartening so I avoid killing whenever it is possible. |

You can kill someone at any level all that is needed is something pointy (no clubs etc.). I'd reccomend finishing off some people though as I've knocked down people before only to have them spring up and attack me again, meaning I had to finish them off with an axe in the chest. In real life too. |

I don't like killing. Not even Mud. I found his company annoying, but hey, at least I didn't have to be alone. (Until I got around danger, and he fled.)
Anyway, my first time through Gothic, I didn't need ore. The first day, I explored the town until night. Especially the Smith and his house (Old Camp). Then I went to sleep, that night I went into his house, knocked him out, and stole his blades. They are a great way to buy things. And there are a lot of them. Just trade them and you won't have currency trouble for awhile.
Granted it takes some fun out, that's why I started a second game and scraped together ore.
And when people steal from me, I don't kill them either. Like Lefty for example: When I told him to deliver the water himself, he whooped me. Then I whooped him when I got up. But before I could get my ore back, The Rice Lord attacked me and stole my ore. So I strategized. I went away and gained my health back. And snuck in the Rice Lord's house at night. I beat him up, stole my ore back. Then I took out Lefty's two thugs, and came back for him. They didn't bother me after that.
Err.. But the Mercenaries decided to give chase. Two of them fell off of the dam and killed thmselves.
Normally I use Marvin to bring back NPC's. But that's only when i interfere and kill them on accident. They died themselves, so I took their things and left.
Hehe, sorry for my rant. I'll get to the point:
You can kill people at any level, but I don't recommend it. I like hearing their threats. _________________ Knock Knock.
