Isgaroth Quest - solved
   

Fire mage novice quests: I was told to see Isagaroth to get a task. When I talk to Isgaroth the only options available are Bless Me/Show wares. Does anyone know how to remedy this problem?

Update: I learned elsewhere on the forum Isgaroth should ask me to kill a black wolf for him. Well even though he did not ask I killed the black wolf and yet the task is still marked not completed.

Update: I restarted the game at a point before getting the key to the library and now the the Isagaroth wolf quest works as advertised.
