this quest took me the whole of 2 days. i visited every cave in khorinis and still bennet told me that there were more, finally i got em all and the quest is listed under completed in my journal... however, i expected to be able to buy the heavy dragon hunters armor after the quest was completed but the only thing i can say is to learn more forging and to buy forging equipment...  how do i get him to sell me the armor? or is this a bug?

You get the heavy dragon hunters armor in the 5th chapter after the library in the Monastery of Fire. You read there how to make it and tell Bennet. He can then sell it to you for 20000.

while it may be a bit late, the dragon eggs have a use in chapter 6 where you learn how to make a potion out of them which increases strength by 15 (don't worry though as you find enough eggs in chapter 6 to make a single potion, you're just now unable to make a second) |

BIG SPOILER TIP:
learn alchimy than buy all the eggs back from bennet...whan you will get to chapter 6 you will learn how to make a potion out of 12 dragon eggs (potion that gives you +15 str perment! you will find something like 15 more eggs befor getting to the recipy for the potion... (the eggs are gurded by tons of lizerman, the eggs are near the fire dragon (hes not the finel boss)) you will fid the recipy near the black mages novices direy just read the diery and the rcipy...(you find the recipy after killing the fire dragon...)
dont forget to keep your dragon blood (if you have any) you can make the best 1h/2h sword in the game with it in chapter 5... |

to be honest i'm not sure if you can buy back the eggs of bennet as i don't think they enter his inventory (otheerwise it'd end up being another xp loophole). as an experiment i gave him a single egg and then possessed him (via marvin mode) and i don't think it was in his inventory |

thanx... i already knew about the potion because i played through as a mage once before, but i tried buying the eggs back from bennet and he didnt have them... so i guess i will only be able to make one potion
