When wandering to the Sect camp, I came across a bridge leading to a skull gate with a jammed winch. Is this accesible at some point?
Also, the first armour I get is a paair of Primart trousers for 500. Is real armour available later?
I have read on posts tht some books are available for improving skills. Is this true?
I bought a first circle magic book from a mage in NC for 50 but it just describes spells..any other uses?
I have cooked raw meat at a pot, I have made swords from steel using forge, bucket, anvil etc. Any more usable pastimes and stuff that can help like that?

Yes, you can go through that gate eventually, but not for quite a while. You'll know what that place is soon enough. |

The answer to all your questions is yes. You should not try to go into closed up places until someone tells you to go there.
Makeing crude swords is a good way to make money in the beginning. If you know how to sleep, you know all the most usefull stuff. Sleeping heals your character. |

Oh, yeah. If I could just forget all about it and play again for the first time. It's like wishing for your childhood to come back. |
