I made a boo boo. Argh!!!!!

After I got the necklace and turned it back into Sly, I hadn't talked to the cook yet which also has something to say about Nek which was going to get the ingredients for him. So since I talked to him after turning the necklace over to Sly, the quest still remains in my current mission. I talked with Fletcher to prior to this and also tried talking to him again and even Sly to repeat that he will tell Deigo of my deed. Also even having Deigo tell me of my esteem within the camp which he does mention about NekSly. Still it remains in my current missions

Anyone know what I can do to have the show as completed?

you have to talk to a guard that has been forced to take his post walking the beat in nek's old turf. He'll explain that he ain't there or at least shouldn't be there and you can tell him you found nek and mission will be complete

I have the same thing in my log of uncompleted quests. I went back and talked to everyone and still the log is still there. No big thing.

It is a bug, once you complete the mission, i.e. give Sly the amulet, you can never speak to him again for the rest of the game. If you do, the mission pops out of completed missions and back into current missions. As far as I know, there is no way to fix it once it happens without loading an earlier save. It doesn't change your standing in the OC, however, Diego still says that Sly spoke up for you. I just finished the game with it as an outstanding mission.

This game has more bugs than any other proper game I have seen. Example: I wanted to talk to one fella and accidentally pressed 'b' and that showed me my skills. But when I closed it, I couldn't do anything, only stare the fella I wanted to talk to before. And, I could check out my skills again and again. But when I look past these mistakes, It's very cool game.

I avoided all that by talking to Snaf first.
