Problems with keys

I've got a problem with keys. Character walks and jumps, but it won't pick up items, or talk to anyone. I can't go anywhere, or do anything. Could somebody tell me what the Hell shuold I do?

Thank you.

You need to press the 'action' key + 'forward' to do actions, talk, pick up things etc. The default 'action' key is Ctrl, but it's also mapped to the left mouse button.

It shouldn't do that, that's highly unusual; you might try to remap your keys.
