I can't even get in! Please help me!
   

Every time I try to start up Gothic 2 it does a File System Update or something like that. Then the task manager says that Gothic 2 is not responding! The FAQ in this forum says to extract the Vdsf32e.exe file to [GOTHIC2]\System\.
(override/replace existing file)

How am I supposed to do that?

You are meant to replace the file with the updated version.
