Sacred: Review @ ActionTrip

Those whacky guys at ActionTrip have whipped up a review of Ascaron's 'Sacred'. The score is 84% and here's a surprisingly sane quote:
Apart from solving quests and slashing your way through swarms of goblins, orcs, gargoyles, thieves, assassins, and other baddies, the game will have you concentrating on using the most out of your character's capabilities. Beefing up armor and weapons is not the only thing you get to do. There's also an intuitively designed combat system at work, involving special moves, combos, and so on. My cute Vampiress had an entire myriad of impressive attacks, in addition to the ability to change into a super-Vampire warrior for a certain amount of time. Normally, her blows are deadlier at night… We won't waste any time on describing other characters, but suffice it to say, they all have a set of unique abilities to use in combat. Another appropriate moment in combat is the addition of horseback riding. Characters can purchase various breeds of horses which in turn helps them get around a lot quicker and gives them leverage during combat (provided they advanced the right skill).

Question

Ok I'm confused. A lot of these review pictures have blood in them. If I'm not mistaken, the American version was supposed to be completely censored. Are these reviews based on the UK version or did they decide not to censor the game?

The NA version is definitely censored. AT may have received a pre-shipping press version to review, purchased an import from GoGamer (or elsewhere) or even just used stock screenshots from their gallery (probably not but it's possible).

The NA version is indeed censored but it is not the blood that has been removed, it's the GORE.

In my nordic version I frequently chop off arms or legs or heads when landing the killing blow (which will result in a veritable gushing red river of blood) and the Woodelf has combat art called "Exploding Arrows" which, as far as I know, should do to the bodies of the victims exactly what the name entails

These are the things that have been censored out in the NA version, not the minor blood stains.
