They don't really do combos...they just do two strikes that are so quick you can only manage to block one and get hit with the other. Some of the mercs have double striking ability, the tougher ones anyway. I've never fought any paladins or militia to find out otherwise. _________________ "What are you gonna do? Release the dogs?! Im starting to get use to it now.
But my big complaint is WHY OH WHY does it take sooo long to ready my sword when im being attacked.....if im just running and there is no one around i can sheat and unsheat my weapon easily but once i start getting attack i cant draw my sword quickly and while moving i have to stop stand still get hit then finaly i can take it out..... the controls dont respond
What level should i be before starting to think about killing a pack of wargs or a shadowbeast? cuz u can parry NPCs but beast im not able to ....
Right now im lvl 7-8 strengh 30+5 and 40% sword skill i still have the cutlass sword i havent found anything better yet mainly cuz i havet explored very far _________________ ---------------------------------------------------------

Parry does nothing with animals. Its only good for humans.
I would imagine that killing a pack of wargs with a sword would be very difficult unless you were incredibly strong.
Generaly you have to swing at them to make them back off, or hit them hard enough so that they are stunned. Doing that with more than 1 animal at a time is very hard. _________________ IMHO my opinion is humble |

I like to use 2 handers and strafe round enemys, this works against orcs and low level humans, as they run at you thew will hold there weapon in the air and swing it down at you, if you time it right you can strafe to the right and they run right past you, leaving there back exposed to your mighty two handed sword of doom _________________ R.I.P "Dimebag" Darrell Lance Abbott

There are two types of running. I don't know how you get the better kind. In one type of run you can keep running and unsheathe your weapon. In the other you have to stop. Its difficult not to get hit if there is more than one critter fighting you. Sword fighting is okay I guess but I mainly stuck to the crossbow. You can do alot of hit and runs with it. Plus whenever the crossbow hits a target it does the full damage unlike melee weapons. Melee weapons don't always do full damage but have a chance for critical hits. I prefer doing full damage than doing critical hits once in awhile. The only critters which can shrug off arrows or bolts are trolls. _________________ "What are you gonna do? Release the dogs?! You can kill shadowbeast when level 8 and have leather armor. I managed to do that once after a few tries. Better wait until you are like level 12-15 and have some nice equipment.
Wargs are way too much for any young fighter. They always come in packs making them much harder than they in fact are. I'd say level 14 or up and again in combination with good equipment. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."

thx you all for the info guys i appreciate it .
I have yet another question tho.
Its about the combos... do u actually learn them or when you gain more experience they become available and you have to figure them out?
Since ive become a fighter in sword skill i swing differently ...if i swing 2 times in a row with the front attack i end up with the sword over my head for a second or 2 like im getting ready for a death blow but then nothing happens...
Hope im not getting anoying lolll _________________ ---------------------------------------------------------

don't remember exactly but I think you have to try the left again when your standing with your sword like that. you have to figure them out yourself _________________ Want to become a vampire? a warrior in the battle between vampires and werewolves?

Learning is maybe too much, but you'll start fighting better indeed. Once you become fighter, and later on master, you'll become faster and you can make a longer combo. Your left-right combination will also become faster.
The combo length is like this (number of times you can do attack-forward):
Onehanded:
Rookie: 2 moves
Fighter: 4 moves
Master: 4 moves (you'll do attack-forward four times, but you'll hit 5 times, because the last one is something like a Northcross attack that hits twice)
Twohanded
Rookie: 2 moves
Fighter: 3 moves
Master: 4 moves
These combo's don't have increased damage, like combo's in other games! It just looks better. _________________ "Who are we to call this planet Earth, when it's clearly Ocean."
