I'm fighting Varrag Unhilt...when he's dead and everything's looted I get his sword and put it....where?...The only unusual stone in the floor is the one with what looks like a face on it. When I killed Varrag Hashor there was a stone on the floor that highlighted saying "Strange Shrine"...But there isn't one in Varrag Unhilt's room. I'm thinking there should be one, and getting worried about this being one of those infamous "Bugs" I keep reading about.
Could someone tell me if there's supposed to be one of those "Strange Shrine" stones here? If so, and there's not one, is there any way that I can "insert" the right one? Thanks in advance for any help.

Figured it out. I went into the pit under structure. (The gate will open when you are standing on top of the structure--wait long enough on top of the structure the spikes sticking out of the floor under the structure will go back down) On the left side of the coffin when facing the green jewel you can hit a "ctrl-up arrow" which will open the gate. By the way you can get good stuff from each of the four dead mummy guys underneath there too.
Best of luck

Right. I've got that part. What's puzzeling me is what to do with the sword after I get it. The redish stone in the floor won't highlight, and there's not another one to "use" the sword in. |

I dont' think you have to use the sword to open this door/gate. The green jewel on the coffin does that. It seems like all of these swords will be used later though
