| blasted thief cost me 50 gold out of my own pocket |
|
well, i was in town doing a thief quest for jora, and he told me how the guy across the marketplace ran off with his gold.
anyway, i go over to get the 50 gold, and guy ran away never to be seen again. so i had to go back over to jora and pay the 50 gold out of my own pocket. since i was mad, i went over to lord andre, but there was no place to even report the guy.
i can't believe i have to pay that out of my pocket to get info about the thieve's guild. 
my question is, how do i report this guy? i can't just let him get away with making me pay for his robbery. |

He should still be standing by a tree near the barracks. From the market, head to the barracks, go up the steps and when facing the entrance, turn left, now follow that walkway all the way around and down another set of stairs. Rengaru should be there by the tree. You can get the fifty gold from him or not, but you must choose the option to turn him in to the militia before you can turn him in to Lord Andre.

haha, wow thanks. that was quick before i even left rpgdot. i feel stupid now for not looking around more. i thought for sure he ran off into thin air never to be seen. this is a great satisfaction for me.  |

Yeah, you ARE a former convict. Just beat someone down, take their fifty, and give that to him if you have too. Unfortunatly, I, being the goodie-goodie paladin sort, do pay things out of my pocket and only beat down those who deserve it. Like bandits, orcs, mercenarys who talk back to my greatness, sheep, you know the truly evil things. |

Haha You were suppose to chase the guy till he's out of air...
Nm, I took the gold for myself and let the thief go away... (It can help you if you want to join the thieves guild...)
When I told Jora that the thief ran away he asked me where the gold is and i just went away! (with the gold of course...)
