I can't be Arch-Mage

There is a problem that I want to become an Arch-Mage and I done all the mage guilds quests.When I spoke with the stewards about advancement they say that I must talk with Arch-Mage Trebonius Artorius; the problem occurs here.I defied Arch-Mage Trebonius and defeated him earlier when I didn't do all the steward's quests and I became a Master Wizard.Is there some way or cheat that make me Arch-Mage?

Shit.. I just did the same thing. I dueled Trebonius when I had the rank of wizard, and got promoted to master wizard. I was hoping I could talk to any steward to get arch mage once I get a skill above 90......

Being an arch-mage has no real perks besides the amulet you get off the previous arch-mage as far as i can see anyways.

ArchMage fix

If you enter the console mode " ` " . Then type PC RaiseRank " mages guild "
then type Journal MG_GUILDMASTER 100

this the makes you the arch mage
